King Day celebration

The Halifax County Business and Professional Council hosted the annual Dr. Martin Luther King celebration yesterday afternoon at First Baptist Church of Ferry Street. Daniel, South Boston town manager, was honored by the Council for his work to revitalize the Church Hill community and the Washington-Coleman Civic Center.
