Light agenda for South Boston council tonight

SoVaNow.com / February 11, 2013
South Boston Town Council has a relatively light agenda for its meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers on Yancey Street.

Council members will first consider a proposed amendment to the Town Code that would require all residences to have both water and sewer systems. Council members also will consider the Town’s policy on sending out second notices for the collection of delinquent taxes.

The third agenda item is a recommendation for an appointment to the Board of Zoning Appeals. Council will consider referring a candidate to the local Circuit Court, which makes the appointment.

Citizen comments will be received after the completion of the regular agenda.
