Mecklenburg grand jury indicts 14 suspects

A Mecklenburg County grand jury handed down indictments against 14 individuals on July 19.

Indictments are not findings of guilt. They are a determination that sufficient evidence exists to bring the cases to trial.

Annie Ruth Millner and Lashonda Evet Callahan, both of La Crosse, were each separately charged with five felony counts of conspiracy to commit credit card fraud and seven felony counts of credit card fraud. Millner was also charged with one additional felony count of conspiracy to commit credit card fraud and one misdemeanor count of shoplifting.

Justin Chandler Jennings of Chesapeake and Tara Spence of Danville were each separately charged with one felony count for delivery of drugs to a prisoner.

Ethan Sheldon of Buffalo Junction was charged with one felony count of breaking and entering to commit larceny, one felony count of malicious assault and one felony count of malicious wounding.

Markee Joyner, aka Markee Keishon of South Hill, was charged with one felony count of breaking and entering while armed to commit larceny.

Makayla Jordan Stephens of South Hill was charged with one felony count for possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance and one misdemeanor count for violation of a pretrial order.

Randy Allen Humple of South Hill was charged with one felony count of malicious wounding. He also has two outstanding capias warrants for probation violations.

Jamel Daquan Hilliard of Clarksville was charged with one felony count for eluding police and one misdemeanor count for driving under the influence, first offense.

Kenneth Coomes of Clarksville was charged with one felony count for possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, one felony count for possession or use of a saw off shotgun, one misdemeanor count for petit larceny and one misdemeanor count for trespassing.

Shaiquan Lamont Millner of Faiburn, Ga. was charged with one felony count of eluding police.

David William Bramblette of Jasper, Ga. was charged with one felony count of grand larceny.

Shawn Carter Jr. of Bridgeport, Conn. was charged with one felony count of grand larceny, auto theft.

Shamonte Daivon Mims Jesters of Victoria was charged with one felony count of eluding police and one felony count of grand larceny, auto theft.
