Mecklenburg grand jury issues indictments against 13 defendants

A Mecklenburg County grand jury handed down indictments against 13 individuals Feb. 19, including three individuals for felony drug possess.

Jarrett Andrew Burns of Chase City was indicted on one felony count of possession with intent to distribute heroin.

Shannon Lynn Roark of Keysville was indicted with one felony count of possession of Oxycodone and one felony count of possession of cocaine.

Ricardero Devonte Pratt of White Plains was charged with one felony count of possession of amphetamines. He was also charged with two misdemeanors, driving under revocation or suspension and eluding police.

Sharvon R. Bennett of Clarksville was charged with one felony count of child abuse.

Samuel Steven Mosley of Red Oak was charged with one felony count of assault and battery against a family member.

Tremaine Tavon Brown of South Hill was charged with one felony count of unlawful wounding.

Kelly Lynn Clemento of Chase City was charged with one felony count of breaking and entering and a misdemeanor for petty larceny.

Raleigh Layfette Williams of Littleton, N.C. was charged with two felony counts of shoplifting from WalMart.

Donte Lamar Robinson of Warrenton was charged with one felony count of grand larceny.

Carlton W. Lynch of Emporia was charged with one felony count of grand larceny and one felony count of larceny, third offense.

Ahamad Moore of South Hill was charged with one felony count of shoplifting from Food Lion, third offense.

Dylan Thomas Lynch of La Crosse was charged with one felony count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Jamar Antwon Walker of South Hill was charged with one felony count of driving under the influence, third of subsequent offense and a misdemeanor of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Indictments are not findings of guilt, but rather a determination that sufficient evidence exists to bring cases to trial.
