New home dedicated for Clarksville police

Clarksville Mayor Kevin Allgood, interim town manager Charles Lee and Police Chief Ricky Wilkinson on Thursday cut the ribbon at the dedication and opening of Clarksville’s new police station. The building is the first upgrade the Clarksville Police Department has experienced with their facilities in more than 27 years. Wilkinson thanked Lee for spearheading the drive to get a new home for Clarksville’s Police Department — one that has the technological capabilities needed by a modern police force. He also thanked the town for their support of his Department and the men who serve. / January 30, 2013
