One injured as tractor struck from behind

An crash Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. on U. S. Route 58 resulted in injuries to a Powhatan driver, whose vehicle struck the rear of a farm tractor.
Brett E. Walton, 29, was the driver of a 2013 Toyota Prius that struck the tractor, causing $10,000 damages to the Toyota.
The 2104 John Deere tractor, which was traveling west, was operated by 67-year-old Howard E. Lewis of Henderson, N.C.
The tractor has no apparent damages from the collision.
Walton was transported to the local emergency room from the crash scene on 58 about a quarter-mile east of its intersection with State Route 656. Virginia State Trooper K. R. Martin placed no charges in the accident. 810
