Police arrest three on drinking charges / July 21, 2014
South Boston Police officers have arrested three residents, charging them with public drunkenness.

Officer J. Throckmorton arrested 24 year old Kevin Clowers on the charge on Friday, July 18 and then arrested 52 year old Robert Long on the same charge on Saturday, July 19. Cpl. A Whitmore of the South Boston Department arrested 29 year old Marques Williamson on a public drunkenness count also on Saturday, July 19.

Also on Saturday Cpl. J. Berry issued a summons on 20 year old Jaquan Owens, charging him with a misdemeanor count of cursing and abusing, stemming from an incident which occurred on Monday, July 14.

These poor officers are really bored and need some guidance. No criminal cases to be working on guys?


LOL.....Some of these people don't even drive. Why waste time while people around here speed like demons.

Halifax County already have a bad name. This police force should be going after real criminals instead of people who try and relax.a
