Rash of vehicle break-ins prompts warning
SoVaNow.com / November 26, 2012According to Halifax County Sheriff Fred Clark, there have been numerous vehicles broken into over the past several days.
Vehicles have been tampered with on Cluster Springs Road, Cherry Hill Church Road, East Hyco Road, Dan River Church Road, and Wolf Trap Road.
Clark said some of the vehicles were not locked while parked at residences and were ransacked. He suspects the culprits were likely looking for valuables.
Clark warned residents not to leave valuables in vehicles and to lock their doors.
