Recycle services resume this week for Halifax County / August 18, 2014
Halifax County will resume its recycling efforts beginning Tuesday, Aug. 19, collecting the recyclables from all the convenience centers.

With the county's purchase of the new 2015 Peterbilt truck last Friday, Public Works Director Ricky Nelson announced on today that the county can now resume its recycling, something citizens have been very concerned about, he said.

"It's going to take a little while to catch up," Nelson said, "but we're back in business."
