Scavenger Hunt held downtown / November 26, 2012
Searching for fun and perhaps a little extra Christmas shopping money?

Then you’ll want to join the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever scavenger hunt.

Nancy Pool, chamber executive director, explains that participants will have a whole week to answer the hunt’s riddles by finding 30 local businesses.

Scavenger hunt maps can be picked up at the Chamber office on Broad Street and prizes will be awarded to the top three with the most points. The grand prize is a $100 Chamber check.

The hunt begins this morning, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m. and ends on Monday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m.
