Sheriff’s Office warns of rash of vehicle break-ins

Over the past several days, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office, there have been many numerous vehicles broken into in the following areas: Cluster Springs Road, Cherry Hill Church Road, East Hyco Road, Dan River Church Road, and Wolf Trap Road.

Some of the vehicles were not locked while parked at residences and were ransacked. Suspects were likely looking for valuables.

Citizens are asked not to leave valuables in vehicles and to lock their doors.

Anyone with any information about these incidents or sightings of suspicious persons or vehicles are asked to contact local law enforcement agencies by calling 434-476-3334.
