SoBo Kidz Sale makes its debut this Saturday

The first annual SoBo Kidz Sale is set for this Saturday, March 29 at the Halifax Farmer’s Market on Main Street in the Town of Halifax.

The event begins at 9 a.m., continuing until 5 p.m.

There will be gently used clothing (junior sizes included), maternity clothes, boutique clothing items, shoes, baby gear (bouncers, car seats, strollers, etc.), as well as some sporting equipment and nursery décor and books for sale.

Organizers will be collecting canned goods to donate to Serving Hope which helps local families with their food needs so they are asking participants to bring a canned good with them to the event.

They are also collecting stuffed animals to be given to Gleaning for the World.

Members of the Virginia State Police will be on hand from 1-3 p.m. to demonstrate how child car seats should be properly installed and used.

Also a member of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Department will be available to fingerprint your child. And representatives of both the Fuller-Roberts Clinic and South Boston Pediatrics will be on hand to meet and greet local parents.
