South Boston Police make number of arrests

South Boston Police Officer T. B. White on Friday arrested 49 year old Carl David Hughes of South Boston for breaking and entering. The charge stems from an incident which took place on Feb. 7, 2013. Hughes is being held without bond.

On Friday, Officer T. W. Bush arrested 44 year old Donald Vincent Williams on charges of driving on a revoked permit and with failure to appear in court. Williams was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Bush also arrested 49 year old Charles Edward Claiborne on Friday, charging him with being drunk in public. Claiborne was being held on the charge. Earlier in the week on Tuesday, February 5, Officer S. Song arrested 26 year old Keywarren Antonio Brooks of Alton, charging him with distribution of marijuana. Brooks was being held without bond.

Song also arrested 22 year old LeRoy Hunter, Jr. of Alton on February 5, charging him with distribution of marijuana. Hunter was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
