South Boston suspect held on larceny charges
SoVaNow.com / May 20, 2013South Boston police have arrested a 39-year-old South Boston woman and charged her with two separate counts of grand larceny.
On Friday, May 17, Cpl. M.W. Bowen arrested Delores Ann Terry for grand larceny of more than $200 from Belk of South Boston. Then on Saturday, May 18, Officer A. Whitmore charged Terry with the grand larceny of more than $200 from Wal-Mart.
Whitmore also charged the woman with being drunk in public.
Terry is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Halifax with no bond set.
In other reports from the South Boston Police Department, Officer F. Powell charged 18-year-old Arielle Jones with driving on a suspended operator’s license. She was released on a summons.
