SoVaNow.com / January 08, 2014

Wesley Lee Krenicky Jr., 54 of South Hill, died in a single car crash Saturday morning after his 1994 Nissan STD veered off the road and struck a tree.

Virginia State Trooper G.K. Brandes reported that Krenicky’s vehicle ran off to the right of Route 1 just north of Alpine Road at around 6:22 a.m. The car then struck a tree. Krenicky, who was not wearing his seatbelt, died at the scene. He was alone in the car at the time of the crash.

Brandes estimated the damage to Krenicky’s vehicle at $900.

No charges were filed.
