Special church services planned

Several area churches have scheduled special Watch Night services for Monday, Dec. 31. Rev. Paul Crews will led the service tonight beginning at 10 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

The Household of Faith Apostolic Church will hold its Watch Night Service this evening beginning at 10 p.m. and the Watch Night service at Blue Wing Grove Baptist Church beings tonight at 10:30 p.m.

St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church will hold its New Year’s Day Mass on Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 9 a.m. and St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church begins its New Year’s Day Mass at 11a.m.

On Wednesday, Jan. 2 St. John’s Episcopal Church in Halifax will hold a healing service beginning at 10 a.m. At 6 p.m. that day the book study will resume.
