Suspect jailed for malicious wounding

SoVaNow.com / July 01, 2013
South Boston police on Wednesday arrested Edwardo Ferguson, 34, of McKinney Street and charged him with malicious wounding and with violation of a protective order. He was incarcerated at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.

Ferguson’s June 26 arrest came after South Boston Officer R. L. Lawson responded to a report at 3:10 p.m. of a malicious wounding on Wagstaff Lane.

When Lawson arrived, he found the victim, a South Boston resident, with several lacerations to his arm.

Also that same day, Officer R. Mead arrested 27-year-old Gerard A. Alexander of Wagstaff Lane on two counts of violating a protective order and one count of assault and battery. He was also held without bond.
