Three charged with drug offenses
SoVaNow.com / April 15, 2013South Boston Police officers arrested three local men on Saturday, April 13, charging them with drug violations.
Forty year old Elijah Jarrod Porter of South Boston is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Halifax with no bond set for his release. He was charged with one count of distributing cocaine and one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Also arrested was 53 year old Phillip Howard Wimbush of South Boston who was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond. He was charged with the manufacture and distribution of imitation Schedule III, IV or V drugs and a second count on the same charge.
The third man, Nathaniel Freeman-Gayles, 43, also of South Boston, was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond and charged with one count of the manufacture and distribution of imitation Schedule III, IV or V drugs.
