Three held on drug, firearms charges
SoVaNow.com / May 06, 2013According to Halifax County Sheriff Fred S. Clark, as part of an ongoing drug roundup by the Halifax/South Boston Regional Narcotics and Gang Task Force, three persons were arrested on Wednesday, May 1, on drug and firearm indictments.
Antonio Dwight Woods of South Boston was charged with one count of felony distribution of marijuana.
Marcus Tyler Hughes of South Boston was charged with one count of selling a firearm to a felon and one count of conspiring to sell a firearm to a felon.
Carmichael Jarmond Howerton of South Boston was charged with six counts of distribution of cocaine.
All three are being held without bond at the Halifax County Adult Detention Center.
