Trespass, copper theft investigated / May 06, 2010
On Tuesday, May 4 Halifax Police Lt. D. D. Irby arrested 26 year old Chaterias L. Harris of Halifax on the charge of trespassing after being forbidden to do so. The offense allegedly occurred earlier that day.

Also the Halifax County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the theft of 507 feet of copper and steel wire, valued at some $190. A representative of Mecklenburg Electric, which owned the materials, said the theft occurred recently. Deputy Joey Adams is investigating the crime.
