Two arrested on pot charges
SoVaNow.com / January 21, 2013Two Halifax men were arrested on Saturday after members of the Division III Tac Team of the Regional Task Force executed a search warrant at a home located at 4097 Ball Park Loop. Two subjects who lived at the residence were under indictment for distribution of marijuana.
Arrested were 24 year old Cordaro Wilson and 48 year old Glenn Palmer. Wilson was charged with five counts of distribution of marijuana and Palmer with three counts of distribution of marijuana. Wilson was held on a $7,500 unsecured bond while Palmer was held on a $3,000 secured bond.
Officers seized $719 in cash from the home as well as some 224 grams of marijuana, valued at $2,240.
Conducting the search were members of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, the South Boston Police Department, Virginia State Police and the Task Force.
