Vandals strike Riverdale shops / June 10, 2013
Several Riverdale businesses were vandalized sometime during the night Saturday, said Captain B.K. Lovelace of the South Boston Police Department.

Three businesses had either their windows or doors broken out. The vandalism was discovered early Sunday morning as police officers patrolled the area.

Lovelace said windows at Tangles were bashed in and the front glass door at Turning Headz was also damaged.

Across the street at the Mexican grocery store, La Guadalapana, a glass door was shattered.

Lovelace said it is not known at this point what may have been used to break the windows and doors, although it could have been shots from a small caliber weapon.
