Wolf Trap Road bridge hearing postponed / March 20, 2014
The public hearing focusing on design plans to replace the Route 716 (Wolf Trap Road) bridge over the Banister River was postponed on Tuesday due to the fact that public schools in Halifax County were closed due to inclement weather conditions. The public hearing had been scheduled to be held at Sydnor Jennings Elementary School located on Route 501 .

The public hearing is now set for Tuesday, March 25 and citizens may stop by Sydnor Jennings Elementary between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m. to review and discuss the plans for the bridge replacement.

The meeting will be an open-house format with VDOT staff on hand to discuss project information and to answer questions.
