Blair Construction brought in the demolition equipment to tear down the old county jail on the courthouse square, an early phase of the Courthouse Renovation Project. The demolition will make way for an expansion of the Courthouse annex, which will house new courtrooms once the project is completed. The renovations are expected to be completed by mid-2020.
