Halifax County Supervisors on Monday night unanimously elected veteran ED-2 representative Tom West to serve as chairman for the coming year. Also elected by a unanimous vote was ED-8 Supervisor William Bryant Claiborne, who will serve as vice chairman of the board for the coming year.
