Parade tribute

South Boston News
The Town of South Hill held a South Hill Strong/May Day Parade on Friday to honor dedicated and hardworking first responders and medical personnel in the area. The South Hill Police Department, South Hill Volunteer Fire Department, Southside Rescue, VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital, local health care agencies and Town of South Hill Public Works employees were on hand for a parade of vehicles through town. The procession continued through residential neighborhoods so spectators could step outside and wave from their homes while enjoying some fresh air. (Lisa Clary photo)
