The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office dive team on Friday afternoon recovered the body of Burton G. Parker, 65, in Buggs Island Lake, about 10’ from his dock in the Merrymount community of eastern Mecklenburg County.

Supes propose $69 mil budget, no tax increases
