South Hill’s Colonial Theatre staff introduced

The new staff for the Colonial Theatre were introduced Tuesday during a meeting of the South Hill Chamber of Commerce. upon its opening in the near future. Members of the staff are Eric Sadowski, technical director of the Colonial Theatre who comes to the Colonial from Kirby Theater in Roxboro, N.C.  He will be sound and lighting director and also has numerous connections with people in the theater and music industry.  Lisa Jordan is a former educator and comes to South Hill from a job at the National Park Service in Petersburg and will be the director of the welcome center, art gallery and ballroom, South Hill mayor Earl Horne, Kathy Palmer who has been active in theater productions for many years, and Bill Solari who will be assistant to Doug Wright,the new director of Community Theatre. Already the group is planning on upcoming shows and productions, with workshops and auditions planned for January and February. Members of the chamber also toured the facility. (Lisa Clary photos)
