AdelinePowell Smith

Adeline Powell Smith of South Boston died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2103 at her home. Born April 18, 1042 in Patrick County, she was 71 at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Frank Powell and the late Elva Reynolds Powell and was married to Ray Alexander Smith, who survives. She was a member of the Stuart Baptist Church and the Eastern Star #66, Martinsville Chapter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Bradley Powell Smith of South Boston.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. in the Stuart Cemetery, Stuart. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart and other times at her home, 1013 South Ave., South Boston.
