Annie Beatrice Plenty / March 16, 2017

Annie Beatrice Plenty, 62, of Halifax County, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, N.C. She was born in Halifax County on May 14, 1954, a daughter of the late David Young Plenty Sr. and Ruth Palmer Plenty and was a member of Banister Hill Baptist Church.

Ms. Plenty is survived by three sisters, Ruth E. Plenty of Halifax, Lillie P. Ross of North Chesterfield and Shirley P. Wilkins of Alexandria; two brothers, Arthur L. Plenty of Alexandria and Albert H. Plenty of Henrico; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother, David H. Plenty and one sister, Mary P. Jennings.

A funeral will be held Saturday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at Banister Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. William F. Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing Friday, March 17 at The Crawford House from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. The family will receive friends at 1028 Cowford Road, Halifax.
