Obituaries

Annie Delores Cousins

Annie Delores Cousins, 79, formerly of Halifax County, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Jacobi Medical Center, Bronx, N.Y. She was born in Halifax County on April 8, 1937, a daughter of the late Lizzie Ann Cousins Boyd. She was a member of Bethel Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cousins is survived by one sister, Catherine Crandell Thompson and husband William of Danville; one brother, Bernard Boyd and wife Hazel of Clover; one niece, two nephews, one great-niece, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Boyd.

A funeral will be held Saturday, March 18 at 3:30 p.m. at The Crawford House with Rev. Marvin Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Friday, March 17 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at 8019 Hunting Creek Road, Clover.
