Arline Genevieve Cross, 92, of Halifax died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., on Jan. 3, 1922, a daughter of the late George and Genevieve Chier and was married to the late Victor James Cross.

Mrs. Cross is survived by one daughter, Gail Arline Fredericks and husband Michael of Halifax; five grandchildren, Jennifer Rollings of Salem, Oregon, Elizabeth Rangel of Oakland, Calif., James Cross and Kelly Longo, both of St. Louis, Josh Fredericks of Halifax; five great-grandchildren, Emma Rangel, Patrick and Riley Longo, Raigan Grace and Quinn Longo. She was preceded in death by one son, James Cross and one daughter, Lynn Rollings.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, at noon at St. Paschal Catholic Church with Father Gerald Kaggwa officiating.
