Arthur Ernie Sydnor of White Oak Fork Church Road, Virgilina died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the age of 43. Born in Halifax County on June 21, 1970 to the late Arthur Alton Sydnor, Sr. and Thelma Suitt Sydnor, he was a member of White Oak Fork Baptist Church.

Mr. Sydnor is survived by his aunts and uncles, Nannie Betts of Roxboro, N.C., Marie King, Truette Richardson, Dorothy Fountain and husband, Robert, Christine Sydnor and Evaughn Wilkins, all of Virgilina, Delories Suitt Boxley of South Boston, John Lee Suitt and wife Sandra of Burlington, N.C., John Betts of Roxboro, N.C., and the devoted Lee Lester and wife, Rose of Virgilina, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including the devoted Ms. Angel Hunt.

A funeral will be held on Friday, July 19 at 3 p.m. at White Oak Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of Nannie Betts, 10411 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, N.C.

Funeral arrangements are by Jeffress Funeral Home.
