Betty Jenkins, daughter of the late William and Lizzie Hunt, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at Envoy of Lawrenceville in Lawrenceville. She was born on May 20, 1947 in Mecklenburg County.

Ms. Jenkins was educated in Mecklenburg County School System. She accepted God as her personal Savior and was a dedicated member of Arc of Refuge Sabbath Apostolic Church.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Jenkins was preceded in death by three sisters, Earnestine Nelson, Mary Elizabeth Fields and Catherine Stovall, and four brothers, Douglas Hunt and Jackie Hunt, Willie Hunt and Eugene Hunt.

Ms. Jenkins leaves to cherish loving memories, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends including her church family whom she loved so dearly.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Jan 12, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville.
