Brenda Moore Hinkle, age 72, of Boydton, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2020. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and retired owner of Brenda’s Hair Place in Chase City. Brenda was also an avid motorcyclist, a line dancer, and a crocheter. 

She is survived by her husband, David Hinkle; children, Amy Carlton (Kevin); Debbie Moore (Brad); Tim Moore; sister, Cathy Adams Fitts (Fred); grandchildren, Christan Robison; Elizabeth Jackson; William Carlton; Samantha Thompson; Charli Moore; 11 great – grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at Wood Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Boydton Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN, 38105.
