Brenda Snead Conner, 64, of Clover died Monday, April 2, 2018. She was born in Halifax County on Sept. 9, 1953, a daughter of the late Lonnie Gordon Snead and the late Lillian Hazelwood Snead. She was married to Gordon David Conner, who survives. She was a member of Clover United Methodist Church, where she was a devoted member.

In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Conner is survived by two sons, Joey Conner and wife Brandy of Halifax, Shawn Conner and wife Tamara and daughter, Shannon Conner, all of Clover; six grandchildren, Dylan Conner, Brooke Conner, Shane Holt, Noah Davis, Colton Conner and Memphis Conner; two brothers, Bobby Snead and wife Susan of Clover, Larry Snead and wife Wanda of Scottsburg; one sister, Cathy Snead and husband Steve Blanks and a special niece, Lisa Snead and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral was held Wednesday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at Clover United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kerry Halbert officiating. Burial followed in Clover Cemetery.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Clover United Methodist Church and at other times at her home, 1116 Rawleigh Lane, Clover.
