Carlton Cecil Bray, 70, of 1180 Grubby Road, South Boston died April 4, 2011 at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Born on Jan. 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Jessie and Mary Milhouser Bray and was a retired handyman.

Mr. Bray is survived by a son, Terry Lee Bray and a daughter, Teresa Bray Parrish, both of Roxboro, NC, three brothers, Ernest Bray of Halifax and J. T. Bray and Will Bray, both of Lexington, NC and two sisters, Marie Bray and Virginia Bray, both of Lexington, N.C. and four grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mr. Bray was conducted on Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m. at Cherry Hill UMC cemetery with the Rev. Chase Chambers officiating.
