Carman D Watson, age 40, of Wake Forest died Friday, May 7, 2010. She is survived by her parents, Penny and Pat Watson of South Hill, brother, Rex (Wanda) Watson of South Hill; two nephews, David (Amy) Watson, Daniel Watson; one niece, DeAnna (T.J) Nichols; a great nephew, Carter Watson and her beloved dog, Dusty.

Carman was a former IRA Coordinator for the Coastal Credit Union, attended Stony Hill Baptist Church in Wake Forest, and was a member of First Baptist Church of South Hill.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Mark Graham, his staff, the many doctors and nurses, and those that sent prayers on her behalf.

Carman was an inspiration to all that knew her and she will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Home in South Hill with internment following in Crestview Memorial Park.

The family received friends on Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
