Christeen Farmer Armstrong

Christeen Farmer Armstrong of Vernon Hill went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Jan.12, 2013. She was born in Oconee County, S.C., on Aug. 17, 1917 and was 95 years old. She was the daughter of the late James Hoke Farmer and Lillian Wilson Farmer and was married to the late Edgar Felton Armstrong. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

Mrs. Armstrong is survived by a son, Ernest Lee Armstrong of Vernon Hill, a sister, Rachel Griffin of Greenwood, S.C., five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.

In honor of her wishes there will be no service.
