Christian Antoine Sydnor

Christian Antoine Sydnor, age 5, of South Boston died Monday, May 27, 2019 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston. He was born on Dec. 9, 2013.

Christian was a May 2019 Pre-K Graduate of the South Boston-Halifax Early Learning Center. He loved playing football and basketball and his favorite color was red.

He leaves to mourn his memories, his father: Xavier Antoine Dotson (Ashley) of Clarksville; brothers and sisters, Xavian Dotson, Xzaria Dotson, Alaysia Dotson and Javion Howerton of the home, Xaviannna Dotson of South Boston, Alexia Dotson of Roxboro, N.C., Jaymil Dotson of Clarksville, Mia Meyers and Jeremiah Meyers of Parkersburg, W.Va.; paternal grandparents, Vanessa Dotson of Clarksville, and Danny Dotson of Baltimore, Md.; maternal grandparents, Mary Johnson of South Boston and Roosevelt Johnson of South Boston; one uncle, VaShaun Dotson of South Hill; one aunt, Anequa Sydnor of South Boston; a cousin, La’Mira Logan of South Boston; one special and loving god mother, DaQueta Townes of Clarksville; and a host of great aunts and great uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.

A funeral was held Sunday, June 2, noon at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith.

Services were entrusted to Carter’s Funeral Home.
