Christine Edith Clark, 78, of South Boston, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019 at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation in Danville. She was born in Halifax County on Aug. 8, 1941, daughter of the late Bertha Robinson Clark and Carlton Clark. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

Ms. Clark is survived by her grandchildren, Tamecia D. Medley of Roxboro, N.C., and Quentin Clark of Halifax; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mucie Mitchell; one brother, Carlton R. Mitchell; two sisters-in-law, Maria Gaillard of Charleston, S.C., and Kaye Clark of Spartanburg, S.C.; nieces and nephews, Gloria Clark, Howard Clark (Rhonda), Bertha Cross (Raymond), Ashley Clark, including a devoted friend, Evelyn Diane Clark (Joe) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Minnie Gill, two brothers, Howard J. Clark and Calvin Lee Mitchell and a grandson, Master Anthony Clark.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
