Clarence Edward Moore Sr., 75, of Richmond, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2021 at VCU-MCV Hospital, Richmond. He was born in Richmond on May 3, 1946 to the late John and Luezellia Moore. He attended the public schools of Mecklenburg County and was a member of Lands Chapel RZUA Church in Boydton. Mr. Moore was presently employed by VCU as a custodian and was an avid hunter.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Thelma Tucker Moore of Richmond; a son, Clarence Moore Jr. (Lisa) of South Hill; three daughters, Veronica Moore Gardener of Henderson, N.C., Tyissha Brackett of Richmond and Latasha Burton of South Hill; nine grandchildren; five sisters, Mamie Piercy of East Orange, N.J., Nancy Baskerville, Virgie Jeffers and Fell Jeffers, all of Boydton, and Mable Payne of Henderson, N.C.; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Moore; twin grandchildren, Kadijah and Kadarius Moore; three brothers, Nathan, Robert and John Moore, and one sister, Mary Oliver.

Graveside services were conducted Friday, Sept. 24 at Crestview Memorial Park, La Crosse, with Rev. Annie Alexander officiating.
