Clyde Hamilton Daniel Sr., 85, of Buffalo Junction, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Sentara Meadowview Terrace, Clarksville.

Mr. Daniel was born in Buffalo Junction, Oct. 20, 1933 to the late Kenny and Louise Royster. He attended Saint Mark School and Saint Mark Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction. He was formerly employed by Sellers Brothers Construction Company in Danville.

Cherishing his memories are his wife, Mrs. Annie L. Roberts Daniel of Buffalo Junction, two sons, Clyde Daniel Jr. (Lisa) of Richmond, and Jesse Jerome Daniel of Buffalo Junction, two daughters, Sheila D. Brown of Raleigh, N.C., and Jennifer Daniel of San Marcos, Texas, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Royster of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Robert Royster of Durham, N.C.; one son-in-law, three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Will David Brown Jr. and a step-grandson, Donald Bass Jr.

A funeral was held Saturday, May 11, at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Howard, officiating. Burial followed in Saint Mark Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Junction.
