Debra N. Tuck of South Boston died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 at the home of her sister, Donna Clark. She was born in Halifax County on Sept. 2, 1957 and was 64 years old. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Richard Tuck and the late Hilda Crenshaw Tuck.

She was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Halifax County Sheriff’s Department after 36 years of service.

Ms. Tuck is survived by her sister, Donna T. Clark and husband Aubrey “Bear” Clark of South Boston, and brother, Marshall R. Tuck (Phyllis) of South Boston, and a number of nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael D. Tuck.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oak Ridge Cemetery with Deacon “Doc” Clark officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the gravesite and other times at the home of her sister, Donna and “Bear” Clark, 1302 Berry Hill Road, South Boston.
