Delores Johnson Collins, 80, of Neals Corner Road, Clover, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1940 in New York, daughter of the late Paul Johnson and Joan Dones Johnson. She was married to Evans Collins and was a member of Bethel Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband, Evans Collins of Clover; one daughter, Candice Taylor of Bronx, N.Y.; one son, Gregory Collins of Bronx, N.Y.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Mack and Christine Alado, both of South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Paulette Delutch and Judy Gomez and two brothers, David Johnson and Eddie Johnson.

A funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Bowman as eulogist. Burial will follow in Bethel Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required.

Public viewing will be Thursday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
