Dena Boothe Reynolds died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at the age of 94. Born in Patrick County on Nov. 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Claude Edgar Boothe and the late Mammie Rakes Boothe and was married to the late William Edward Reynolds. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and along with her late husband was the owner of Reynolds Pastry Shop in South Boston.

Survivors include her sons, Cecil Lawson and Rocco Reynolds and wife, Pam of South Boston; a grandson, Coy Lawson; and a brother, Edgar Lee Boothe of Ferrum.

Dena was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four sisters and three brothers.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at First Cross Roads Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
