Earl Wesley Lipscomb / December 19, 2017

Earl Wesley Lipscomb, 61, of Red Oak, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017. Wesley was a retired heavy equipment operator for Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative, a member of Public Fork Christian Church, and a member of the Riflemen Hunt Club.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Duffer Lipscomb, sons, Adam Lipscomb and wife, Ashley, Erick Lipscomb and wife, Tracy, parents, Earl and Jennie Lee Lipscomb, brothers, Bobby Lipscomb and wife, Peggy, Michael Lipscomb and wife, Holly, sister in law, Cindy Rickman and husband, Robert, brother in law, Mike Duffer and wife, Nancy, grandchildren, Bradley Hightower, Wesley Dale Lipscomb, Brody Lipscomb, niece, Amanda Wood,  nephews, Jonathon Duffer, Cody Rickman, Andrew Lipscomb, and Blake Rickman.

A funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. at Public Fork Christian Church. The family will receive friends after the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barksdale Cancer Foundation, (Wendy Lankford) 623 Garden Road, Red Oak, VA 23964.
