Earlie Thomas Wade Jr., 87, of Nathalie, died Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He was born in Halifax County on April 4, 1932, son of the late Earlie Thomas Wade Sr. and the late Essie Martin Wade. He was married to the late Bertie McDaniel Wade and was a member of Volens Memorial Presbyterian Church. Earlie served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and later worked at Dan River Mills as Supervisor of Utilities.

Mr. Wade is survived by his children, Timothy Wayne Wade and wife Darlene of Nathalie, Sabrina Wade Crowell and husband Breck of South Boston; four grandchildren, Jennifer Wade, Jeremy Wade and wife Jessica, Bryan Farley and wife Stephanie, Jonathan Farley; two great-granddaughters, Adison Owen and Kaylee Wade; one sister, Emily Roark and husband Buddy of Martinsville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Wade.

A private graveside service will be held with a memorial service at a later date.
