He is survived by two sons, Larry D. Turner and his wife Pat and Carl E. Turner and his wife Wanda of Alton; one sister, Wray Weaver of Roxboro, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Turner and Alyssa Turner. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and three brothers, Swanson, Marvin, and Bernice Turner.
A funeral will be held on Friday, May 24, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Bonnie Pizzeck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, May 23 from 7-8:30 p.m. other times at his home.
