Eleanor Louise Kuba Tomlinson, 84, of South Boston, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019. She was born in Akron, Ohio on Sept. 23, 1934, daughter of the late Elmer Kuba and the late Lois Bennett Kuba and was married to the late Sherman Dame Tomlinson Sr. Ms. Tomlinson was an RN and, along with her husband, they started EMS service in Brantley, Ga. She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved crocheting. She was a member of Band Booster Club for the Brantley, Ga., High School Band.

Ms. Tomlinson is survived by four daughters, Sarah “Sissie” Lenzen and husband Jonathan of Halifax, Barbara Kilbourn and husband John of Maryville, Tenn., Eleanor “Ellie” Cooper and husband Al of Brunswick, Ga., Charlotte Cline and husband Dave of Roxboro, N.C., two sons, Sherman Dame Tomlinson Jr. and wife Donna of Cumming, Ga., and Richard Tomlinson and wife Kim of Covington, Ga., and 10 grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Monday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home, Milledgeville, Ga., with Rev. Dave Cline officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Veterans Cemetery.
